(Wisconsin Premiere) Henry, a graduate student of philosophy, is being forced to finish his dissertation, leave school, and move on. His world is overturned with a series of bizarre encounters with a very pregnant Miriam, who may or may not be a figment of Henry's imagination. Director Jamie Hook brings a unique voice and vision to the screen, and manages to strike a delicate balance between comedy, philosophy, and cleverness. The Naked Proof was named the best undistributed film of 2003 by Robert Horton of the Village Voice and won in competition at the 2003 Seattle International Film Festival and the 2004 Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival. • Eligible for the Narrative Feature Audience Award.
